Our chainmail manufacturing process begins with the careful selection of high-quality raw materials. All premium metal wires to prepare rings, such as Titanium, Stainless Steel or Aluminum, are chosen for their durability and resistance to rust or corrosion. We buy wires only from top quality manufacturers.

The very basis first step after procurement of quality metal wire is too coiled, in order to cut into individual rings. Considering the commercial aspects in modern chainmail production setup, the wire is loaded onto the machine which is equipped to cut the wire at a précised measurement. To make a flat ring chainmail product the rings cut from the wire is required to go through an annealing process. Our skilled workmen carefully work with different chainmail wires by heating it up to temperature of 1600 Fahrenheit. Thereafter the rings are slowly cooled in the controlled manner to relieve its internal stress and improve its ductility. Each individual ring then goes under the punching machine to turn them into a flat ring.

Each ring is then meticulously smoothed and rounded to eliminate any rough edges or burrs. This step is crucial to prevent discomfort for the wearer and to ensure the rings interlock seamlessly during assembly. Each individual ring that has gone through the cutting process require a precision drilling of a hole which will later become crucial for sealing the ring with its relative rivet. Each individual ring goes through this drilling process and our skilled staff ensures that the hole is made right in the center of the ring to maintain the strength.

The art of weaving chainmail comes to life as skilled artisans interlock each individual ring with four others, forming a 4-in-1 pattern known as "four-in-one" weave. This pattern is the foundation of traditional chainmail armor, offering a perfect balance between flexibility and protection.

Once sheets are weaved in small sizes each ring is riveted individually by carefully positioning it into the hand pressing machine, our skilled artisan ensure the quality of rivets sealed to the rings.

As the weaving progresses, the chainmail sheet can be expanded by adding more rows and columns of rings. This customization allows for the creation of various sizes and designs, tailored to the wearer's needs and preferences. Once sheets are made in specific sizes it goes for cleaning and finishing process depending upon custom choice, we offer number of finish on our steel, brass and aluminum products. AllbestStuff places a strong emphasis on quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Each section of chainmail is carefully inspected for flaws, incorrect ring placement, or irregularities that could compromise the integrity of the armor.

After the chainmail is woven and inspected, any necessary adjustments are made to ensure its structural integrity. This might involve tightening loose rings or refining the edges for comfort. Depending on customer preferences, the chainmail can undergo optional treatments such as finishing, leather edging, brass upgrades depending upon the customer choice. These additional enhancements add to the overall appearance of the chainmail armor.
